Beat Tap is a browser rhythm game where you play the song yourself. Tiles fall down lanes to the beat of the music, and you tap them exactly on time. The longer your combo, the more layers unlock in the song — claps, arpeggios, and pads — so good playing sounds better. Twists kick in mid-run, shifting the lanes and shaking up the rhythm. Completely free, in your browser, no download and no signup.

Timed taps. Tap the tile when it reaches the hit line — with your finger on mobile, a mouse click on desktop.
How to play Beat Tap
- Pick a song from the menu and start the run.
- Tiles fall down lanes; tap each tile when it reaches the hit line.
- A perfect hit is worth 100 points, a good hit 60 — and your combo multiplies both.
- A long combo unlocks extra music layers, and the song gets richer the more accurate you are.
- Missing a tile resets your combo and drops the song back to its base layers.
- At the end of the song you get a score, an accuracy percentage, and a grade.
Tips for a high score
- Listen to the song instead of only watching the tiles — timing comes from the ear.
- After a twist shifts the lanes, it's worth giving up one tile rather than losing your whole combo.
- Accuracy beats speed: a run of perfect hits beats a longer run of good hits.
Leaderboard
Every score is sent automatically to the daily leaderboard for Beat Tap. The board resets every day at midnight, so every day starts fresh.
